Winckelmann believed that the essence of ancient Greek sculpture lay not in the outburst of violent emotions, but in a tranquility like the deep sea that lies beneath turbulent feelings. Set in a hall where numerous marble statues and the reflections of calm water coexist, this project visualizes an ideal beauty that transcends time.
